Users can navigate these links through three distinct tools: browsing, searching, or utilizing the Metaphor Map visualisation. This diverse range of presentation options—tables, metaphor cards, visual links, or timelines—enhances user engagement. Spanning over 1300 years, from the Anglo-Saxon era to contemporary times, this map allows for an insightful exploration of evolving metaphorical thought and expression throughout the history of the English language.
